Toutefois, bien que cette r\u00e9gulation de la stimulation est hautement souhaitable tant certains abus (volume trop \u00e9lev\u00e9, programmation inadapt\u00e9e, etc.) sont nombreux, il est aussi important d&rsquo;avoir en t\u00eate les effets n\u00e9gatifs d&rsquo;un magasin sans ambiance sonore car un magasin sans musique n&rsquo;est pas un magasin silencieux ! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L&rsquo;absence de musique dans un magasin peut avoir plusieurs cons\u00e9quences n\u00e9gatives sur l&rsquo;exp\u00e9rience d&rsquo;achat. La litt\u00e9rature scientifique le montre depuis de nombreuses ann\u00e9es. L&rsquo;absence de musique peut donner l&rsquo;impression qu&rsquo;un magasin est sans vie et ennuyeux, ce qui peut d\u00e9courager les clients d&rsquo;explorer les produits et de s&rsquo;y int\u00e9resser. (Milliman, 1982). En l&rsquo;absence de musique, les clients peuvent \u00eatre plus sensibles aux bruits de fond, ce qui peut les distraire et les g\u00eaner. Cela peut nuire \u00e0 l&rsquo;exp\u00e9rience d&rsquo;achat globale et diminuer la satisfaction du client. (Yalch &amp; Spangenberg, 1990). L&rsquo;absence de musique peut aussi cr\u00e9er une perception n\u00e9gative de la marque, les clients ayant l&rsquo;impression que le magasin est d\u00e9mod\u00e9 ou peu accueillant. Cela peut diminuer la fid\u00e9lit\u00e9 des clients et les dissuader de revenir \u00e0 l&rsquo;avenir. (Chebat &amp; Morrin, 2013). Enfin, la musique peut influencer le comportement et l&rsquo;humeur des clients, le tempo et le volume ayant l&rsquo;impact le plus important. L&rsquo;absence de musique peut rendre l&rsquo;exp\u00e9rience d&rsquo;achat moins agr\u00e9able et diminuer la satisfaction des clients. (R\u00e9f\u00e9rence : North et al., 1999)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans le d\u00e9tail, sans musique un magasin va devoir faire face \u00e0 ces quatre ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes : <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1\/ Une atmosph\u00e8re inconfortable : le silence peut donner aux clients l&rsquo;impression d&rsquo;\u00eatre mal \u00e0 l&rsquo;aise et de ne pas \u00eatre les bienvenus. Dans un magasin de d\u00e9tail, il peut cr\u00e9er une atmosph\u00e8re inconfortable qui dissuade les clients de s&rsquo;attarder et d&rsquo;explorer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2\/ Un environnement sans vie : la musique cr\u00e9e un sentiment d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie et de vitalit\u00e9 dans un magasin, le rendant vivant et excitant. Sans musique, le magasin peut sembler sans vie et terne, ce qui peut d\u00e9courager les clients d&rsquo;explorer et de s&rsquo;int\u00e9resser aux produits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3\/ des bruits de fond exacerb\u00e9s : sans musique, les clients peuvent \u00eatre plus sensibles aux bruits de fond, tels que le ronronnement de la climatisation ou le bavardage des autres clients. La r\u00e9ponse est que les clients le remarquent et que cela peut avoir un effet n\u00e9gatif sur leur perception du magasin et de ses produits. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans l&rsquo;ensemble, il est clair qu&rsquo;un magasin sans musique n&rsquo;est pas un magasin silencieux.
